Sdn. Bhd. Entered Partnership to Attract More Foreign Direct Investment Into Malaysia.

[KUALA LUMPUR, 11 JULY 2023]: A Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) between NCIA and Rand Group Malaysia was signed on 11 July 2023, signifying further collaboration to bring more foreign direct investment (FDI) to Malaysia. The first collaboration between NCIA and RAND Group has been achieved through the promotion of Chuping Valley Industrial Area (CVIA) in the Asia-Pacific Economic Review (APER) Magazine.
Rand Development Sdn Bhd is a Premier Integrated Real Estate Development Company under Rand Group Malaysia. Established in 1994, Rand Group Malaysia has been involved in a wide array of business interests that include international trading, garment and textile manufacturing, real estate development, infrastructure construction and entrepreneurship education (Embroidery Industry) as well as tourism for the past 29 years. The areas of interest for Rand Development comprise of residential, commercial, hotel, industrial, large-scale township, mixed development and infrastructure development projects.
Chuping Valley Industrial Area (CVIA) is a prime industrial zone located in the state of Perlis, Malaysia. CVIA offers a range of advantages that make it an attractive destination for FDI. Its geographical location near the Malaysia-Thailand border provides access to regional markets while facilitating trade and business opportunities. This proximity to Thailand opens up avenues for cross-border collaboration and trade partnerships, leveraging the benefits of both countries' economies.
CVIA will continue to evolve, which is expected to attract more foreign investors, further strengthening its position as a prominent industrial hub in the region and increasing the inflow of FDI in driving economic growth, creating employment opportunities and promoting industrial diversification.
